Tuesday night I got to host (with my sister Missy and sister-in-law Kim) a baby shower for my younger sister Jenny! It was so much fun and I finally get to be an aunt soon! Missy keeps telling me how much fun it is to be an aunt and I can't wait!

We had about 30 people and were going to have a nice outdoor shower on the patio to accomodate everyone. Well, of course once I got the tables set up outside a huge downpour of rain started. So, with help from the crew, we moved some furniture, dried off tables and chairs, and decided on a nice indoor shower! It worked great and I think everybody had a fun time! As one of the shower "activities", we made Troy (Jenny's soon-to-be baby boy) 
a blessing quilt. We had each guest guest decorate a quilt square with buttons and ribbon and write a "blessing" for Troy as he grows up and becomes the boy and man God has planned! We're going to put it together and give it to Jenny as a keepsake for Troy. People had some really great ideas and made really cute squares. I can't wait to get it all put together:-)

Jenny has about 3 1/2 more weeks + or -! We can't wait to meet new cousin Troy!!!

Oh man, Jenny is so cute pregnant! No wonder you're expecting now Shaanti - I would be too if I saw how cute Jenny was pregnant - she sure doesn't look ready to pop yet. I didn't even know she was expecting! She will be such a good mama. I just love pregnant bellies.
Is Missy still back east? She's in an awful lot of these pictures to be living so far away! Either she's moved closer, or she's racking up the frequent flyer miles!
Ooops - for some reason, I was thinking Missy was in the pictures from the Living Proof Conference. Maybe she's not traveling to and from as often as I thought... But maybe she will be in the next little bit with 2 babies on the way...
Wow! Jenny looks adorable. Oh to be that small during pregnancy! I guess you were like that, too. Just born to look good pregnant. :)
What is that drink with the strawberries in it??? It looks fantastic.

Krissi- yeah Missy is still back east, she just gets to come out and work in the BOise office every now and then and we plan these events around her so she can be here! We miss her though:-(

Jenny's due in about 10 days! She was 1cm and 65% effaced on Mon but with a 1st baby that doesn't mean a ton. It could be any day though! She's definitely ready! When are you coming down? Can't wait to see you again!
