Mason was really starting to look shaggy with hair hanging over his ears and cascading down his neck. He had a whispy rooster tail that always stuck up after his naps and the back of his head was starting to accumulate little rats nests from his nap hair! As soft and beautiful as baby hair is, I knew it was time for the first haircut. Thankfully I have an in-home barber who just happened to be avaialble! We got the booster out and strapped him down. It went pretty well at first, he had a toy to play with and didn't really know what was going on. Once we got to the ear area though, I had to hold his head still and it was all downhill from there. We ended up with a red faced, puffy eyed baby and some nice stair steps above his right ear from him suddenly jerking his head to the side! Oh well, when scissors are involved, it could have been worse! He looks adorable though with a new do! It always makes them look so much more grown up too. Of course Cole got a haircut too!
