And the training wheels are off... well, they have been for a month or two, I'm just a little late on this post. Cole had been begging to get his training wheels off and we kept thinking he was too little for that so we held off. Well, when we finally gave in, he did great and has been loving riding his "2 wheeled bike". It took about 2 days to get the hang of it and be comfortable without dad behind the seat but I was amazed at how quickly he took off! The first few tries sounded like this, "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy!" the whole ride. It was pretty funny to watch:-) Now he cruises up and down the sidewalks without a problem and thinks he's pretty cool when he rides with only one hand. Last weekend Cole and I had a date and road our bikes down to TCBY and home. That's 3 miles! He's had a couple of crashes and a little road rash to the knee and elbow but has taken it like a champ. Just one more example of how big he is getting right before our eyes!
